Birthday balloons are a great way to bring color to any party. Some cautions are advised though when deciding to make such a step for this sort of event.
First of all if you really want to impress buy in bulk, it gets cheaper this way because you might be eligible for some discount. Most of these manufacturers sit with their balloons in stock most of the time and you can make both them and you a favor. Anyway a balloon may look impressive, but a hundred of them look glorious.
If you intend to really make a nice surprise you can get your birthday balloons custom printed. This may skyrocket the price, but again if you do this in bulk you will be eligible for a discount. If you wish to skip this part you can always buy preprinted balloons which say something like "Happy Birthday", this tends to do the trick quite well.
If you are not using the services of a specialized company you must beware that these balloons must also get inflated. A helium pump may get very hard to find and inflating those birthday balloons with your mouth is totally out of the question, after the tenth balloon you will see my point. A regular air pump can do the trick though and as you get more handy with it, you will have those balloons inflated in no time. If you intend to do this yourself, think first of timing as you will need a lot of time to inflate those balloons. But again if you have some helpful friends this should be a non issue.
Now you almost got the grasp of birthday balloons, or at least you think that you do. These balloons should not be very colored in many different tones. What you should aim for is balance, meaning that about 70 percent should be on the same color, while the rest should be colored in a different style to break the monotony.
